We're all looking for a place. We're all looking for that place that we think we're supposed to occupy. It's this unjustifiably intense obligation to know what place you are supposed to occupy. If you don't know, then you're not going anywhere. You're lost. You're a nobody. You don't deserve time from anyone. You don't deserve to be listened to. And, it's even worse if you think you belong in one place and you aren't convincing enough to show people that you belong in this place. You are instantly judged as a sham and a fraud, usually just because people think they're always right.
I don't think it's wrong to look for a place. It's a very powerful thing to feel like you belong. It's empowering. It's encouraging. But, it can't be the end. You have to realize your own individuality. That individuality will never truly ever allow you a place. You have to be ok with that. You have to be ok being your own person.
